LiveBand Sunday Stream support

Worship presentation and livestreaming, built for performers. Below: common fixes, then a way to send us a diagnostic report when nothing else works.

› Common fixes

Try this first

90% of issues fall into one of these. If yours doesn't, scroll to the bottom and send a diagnostic.

  • 01 Chord chart won't import — wrong format or unreadable text

LiveBand imports PDF and DOCX chord charts, including Nepali, Hindi, and English. If a chord chart fails:

    • Re-export the source file as a flattened PDF (no scanned images) — selectable text is required.
    • For DOCX, make sure chords are typed inline above lyrics, not in text boxes or tables.
    • If the chart was generated by another worship app, export to PDF first — proprietary formats aren't supported.

Still failing? Send us the file with your diagnostic — most format edge cases get fixed in the next release.

  • 02 MIDI device (Nord, etc.) not detected or controls not mapping
    • Settings → Privacy & Security → make sure LiveBand has permission to use Bluetooth and Local Network.
    • For wired USB-MIDI: use an Apple Lightning/USB-C Camera Adapter — third-party hubs often drop MIDI.
    • Reset MIDI mappings in Settings → MIDI → Reset to defaults, then re-pair.
    • Nord Piano 6 specifically — set "Send Program Change" to On in the Nord's MIDI settings.
  • 03 NDI source won't appear or keeps dropping mid-service
    • NDI requires multicast — most consumer routers block it by default. Switch to NDI HX (single-stream) mode in app Settings → Streaming.
    • If on guest Wi-Fi, switch to a dedicated SSID — guest networks isolate clients and break NDI discovery.
    • Set the receiving device to the same subnet (192.168.x.x) as the sender.
    • For long Sunday services, switch to SRT or RTMP — they're more resilient than NDI on shaky Wi-Fi.
  • 04 Audio out of sync with video, or recording missing tracks
    • Settings → Recording → enable Audio Latency Compensation if you're using a Bluetooth interface (5-30ms typical).
    • ISO recordings need iOS 17+ and at least 6GB free per hour — check storage first.
    • If frames are dropping, lower the preview resolution — Metal compositing scales to the device's GPU.
  • 05 App crashes during a live performance

Immediate workaround: force-quit and reopen — the app auto-restores the current setlist position.

    For diagnostics:

    • Open the Settings app → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data.
    • Find the most recent "LiveBand-..." crash log. Tap the share icon.
    • Send it with your support request — that's the gold-standard diagnostic for a real crash.
